Along with singing we will also be having Tests, Quizzes, and worksheet during our class period to help us understand music more. Below is what you'll be graded: (First 9 Weeks)
1. Tests/Quizzes-26 points
2. Worksheets/Handouts-20 points
3. Your Preformance(have you shown me that you tryed)-24 points
Your Total Points for= 70 Points

If you got a poor score on a Test/Quiz or Worksheet/Handout you may come see me, If in a report or a project you can tell me that your Know the information, and that you Understand it I will give you half credit if you did a GREAT job on it I may give you full credit back.

Please note Parents and Students:
Because this class is worth 70 points it will be harder then any other class. I am not here to make your life more difficult please all i ask is that you do not act out in class and that you finish your worksheets/handouts in class. The only work you may need to do at home is to study for your Test thats worth the most. I only Plan for you to have one test at the begining of the year the rest will be quizzes in the middle of the year.

Reading:
In my reading class we'll be learning many new things this year for example at the begining of the school year we'll be learning how to write a Editorial and based on there knowlege they will write one showing me they know the information they have learned.
My students will always have the freedom to do there project anyway they want in mostly any project in my class. The one main thing that I want to see and It'll be on all of my rubric is that they show me in anyway that they know the information. I like to have more projects because personaly I think tests are boring and was never a good test taker, also projects are more creative and interesting way for me to know they know the information.
